Confusion

most of these poems are just me expressing my emotions about my love life sorry c:

I feel like im being sucked back in

Back into the trap that i luckily got out of before

It's bad i wouldn't complain

If everything was fair and equal

but no. 

He's just

controlling.

I don't even know if im just imagining it

Or if my mind is just showing me what i want

But i dont want

 

He is in my mind

Manipulatiating my thoughts

to love him again

to be hurt once more

What is happening

Is it just my imagination?

No because you ignored me before

Why make the effort to tease me again?

Why make the effort to play me in the game?

Why make the effort unless something in return?

Not that either, just innocent.

Who knows

Maybe i'd leave just like before

and come back to you

This is very much a vivid illustration of "CONFUSION"!!!! I find myself wanting to slap this narrator upside the head, to help clear her vision some, so she doesn't continue falling into this unfulfilling cycle again & again. It's so sad the way we can articulate how things are going in a bad direction (as you've done so well here) and yet we still keep pursuing it anyway. The final statement is so aggravating! But also so true-to-life, for the way these unfulfilling relationships keep luring us back in!
