Houri and Magus

Houri and Magus

A Poem by John Putignano

Sapience forms a caustic puddle, the portal of life secretes
she’s majestic, blue-skinned paragon, occult magus and gamete
at will she animates the dead for Saturnalia genital worship
tongues salivate, putrid neophytes grovel before the dentata

eviscerated nippers, newborn skin tanned, embroidered into attire
wargasms disembowel armies in fervent vehemence, Elysian purifier

A sapphic nymph submits, Beguiled by devi sorcery
The houri is enticed, she concedes to Mahakali’s luxuria
