Awful But True

Don’t you know that I have

       dreams?

 

I wish I wanted to do this but I                                            don’t.

 

But I will.

Because I                                                                              really

 

don’t want to lose your esteem.

I always try my hardest to impress you,

But how                                                                               come

I always feel this guilt when I fail?

 

It is                                                                                      true,

All I want is your approval.

 

I’m practically begging.

 

Can’t you see that?
