a tradegy

a tradegy

A Poem by Zea

Through not the tender touch of your sweet love

Did you ascend to the heavens above

But by the cold kiss of a knife

Did you lose all that matters in life

the rush of war

the simplicity of a summer's breeze

the warmth of the sun

No more are dreams so sweet

for only the emptiness of eternity doth greet

now forever alone you must be

your love never again you shall see

given up you have, but why?

for each has kept his plans sly

if only you had allowed the other insight

then ssaved you might have been from this blight

instead you lay alone

         together

feelingless

         the life and love

                                gone

when shall you love again?

           never

for it was the very life you took that forged your

                             bond

hmm
Such a deep & powerful write,
so emotional. Nicely written and expressed.
