Inexperience

When it comes to sex

I don’t have a clue to what it is

What its suppose to feel like,

Why its so special,

Or what I’m suppose to do…

Its probably why I got played

Such an easy target

He looked at me like fresh meat

It took him awhile to get in

But he finally got me

But that’s besides the point

What I do know is

Its not suppose to feel

The way I felt that night

Freaked out, scared, and hurt..

And left on the side of the road..

No one knows what really happened that night

We just had sex.. But that’s not it..

I can call myself inexperienced

But I do know what happened was wrong..

Young people can come to me and ask what is sex

And all I got to say is

Don’t do it until your ready..

And when your ready

You will know what sex is..

People tell you to do it, do it, do it

But when you do,

They look at you like you’re a s**t..

That’s why I never listened to anyone..

Besides the lies I was fed by the infection

I was always pressured to have sex

But how could I when I wasn’t in love..

I just thought I was

Until he lied, tricked and stole my heart

But I’m over it now

The scars are still locked inside of me..

They were opened, bloody wounds

Until someone healed them with his charm

Such a gentleman, I’ll tell ya…

He laughs at me when I tell him I don’t know sex much

At least he didn’t think I’m a loser.

All I know is, he is waiting until I am ready

And no guy has ever done that for me.

Although I am inexperienced

I can still smile and say I am smart. =)

It started out really sad but ended up on a happier note, I like that. I can relate to the poem, I had sex because I thought I was supposed to, not because I wanted to or was in love. I'm glad things worked out.

Yes! Indeed you are my friend. This piece does not only represent a vent for you, but may sway a wrong decision into a right decision by one of your readers. Very good advice for those who are trying to rush something that should never be rushed. Wait until the right person, and the right time.
