The Christmas Tree that No One Noticed

 

At the Christmas tree lot on the edge of town stood a tiny tree that no one noticed.

Each day families searched the lot in hopes of finding the perfect tree.  And each day they passed the tiny tree by.

Christmas Eve arrived and only the tiny tree remained, then a weary old beggar happened by and decided to rest awhile.  He placed his worn bag beside the tree then tenderly brushed the snow from its drooping branches.  To him this was the most beautiful tree ever!  As the beggar drifted off to sleep, visions of Christmas’ long ago filled his dreams and the old man became a child again if only for the night.
