Minstrel of Minneleaune

Minstrel of Minneleaune

A Poem by Matt
"

This is a product of my imagination mixed with my fascination to Final Fantasy

"

From my quietest jiffy and lackadaisical reverie,

In all her glory, she rose from the foam of my hazy fantasy.

With stringed symphonies and bewitching melodies,

She lures me into her realm full of maladies.

Her world is ailing but I find it fascinating.

It’s my rendezvous with the maiden of charm so beguiling.

Her voice alone is music to my ears.

Her songs relieve me of all my fears.

How her soft mellifluous hand caresses mine

Beneath the shade of Laburnum intoxicating like wine.

Her blonde hair gently sways as it is blown by the placid wind

That brings about her enthralling scent to sweet memory pinned.

Irresistible are her tantalizing eyes

Blue as the tranquil seas and serene skies;

Gazing at mine much to my delight.

My whimsical romance, here, comes to light.

Her lips, ripe as the berries yonder,

Kiss away my forlorn hopes with eternal wonder.

Singing songs for ages to travel.

My silent verses she sung in such marvel.

She is the enticing Siren of unreality,

The mesmerizing bard of my languid fancy.

Why need it be a dream?

Slowly, her visage becomes shadowed and dim.

Oh Songstress of Ivalice, my weary heart you mend.

Lull me to sleep Minneleaune’s Minstrel and don’t let this moment end.
