Another one about my dad...

I once had dreams

You’ve always had lies

They’re the reason

It’s you who I despise

The dreams I once had

The only things I had

Are scattered on the floor

Like broken glass they each have a reflection

And they hurt when I walk on them

I blame you

For these shattered dreams

The thing that cuts me worst

Is your no-nonsense vague response

Like it doesn’t matter

Well, it does to me….
