A Poem by Radioactive
"

The light no longer shines out of your eyes.

"
A faded face in a world of hurt
The light no longer shines out of your eyes
The spark of a soul is gone
Blown to pieces by despair

Your smile seems dead and lifeless
As if the happiness has burned out
Your gaze rests on mine
But I know that you don't really see me

You are crinkled and torn at the corners
Stained with salty tears
But still I speak to you
Even if you can never hear.

Aw....at first I thought it was about death....then it was like a person falling out of love with someone....all around it just seems tragic :(

but I love the words and the truth to it...great write!! I enjoyed♥

I loved this poem!
It has so much melancholy, compassion and pain. I might think it's about or directed to someone who commited suicide. However, somewho i got the image of a "self" image on a mirror; an imge of someone who is not the real "self". Oops, I guess my explanation is not so clear, have problems expressing the image in my head.

Yeah, there are so many people I would like to reach, but they have been hurt so much, they can't hear me. Thank you for creating:)
