Your Own HaloA Poem by Megan S.A tribute to MichelleClay on this site.I used to be A young girl Just a couple Days ago… I used to be So naïve Loving making Angels in the snow… I used to like To run about Like a fool Out in the rain… I used to think That heartbreak Was the worst Kind of pain… But then the Doctor told me I had cancer and All that changed It was that that made My entire world Simply get Rearranged… I thought that I was done for That nobody would Even care, But that’s when I met a woman To whom all My pains I shared… Her name just happened To be Michelle, And to me She means so much She holds me up She makes me laugh All with a Single touch… I swear she Must be an angel Sent down To earth one day Because God knew How much we Needed her… There’s not much else to say. I know, Michelle, You don’t believe That you’re as special As I’ve said. I know that You probably think This is all Inside my head, But I wrote this poem Just for you To show you What I know Because even if You can’t see it You have wings And your own halo.© 2011 Megan S.Reviews
