A Visit From a Ladybug

A Visit From a Ladybug

A Poem by Petals & Pearls

On a brisk November morning
Something caught my eye
A bonnie little ladybug Perched upon my thigh

I'm not sure where she was going
But there I let her stay
Until she climbed atop my finger
And hurried on her way

Ladybugs are cute and colourful. Some people don't like any kind of beetle or bug - especially if they can fly, but I like them. I like your poem too - it made me smile!

A nicely writen rhyme with a flowing cadence not unlike the flight of that ladybug.

Very well done. :)
