i almost never attempt haikus but i wanted to capture the feeling of the contrast of waking up and feeling alive to the dead rot that comes with work.

Know this feeling, all too well, when I was working and trying to live two lives, as a male and a female. Hope you find a solution to your mental rot. :) As Haz mentioned, Haiku's are hard to master, properly, but you have done so, beautifully.

I like how something so ancient is describing a modern torture :D. I cannot handle haiku's, I think I've written one in my entire life, so kudos.
