When you didn't say goodbye

When you didn't say goodbye

A Poem by Raine
"

This poem was written for one of my friends, who told me a week before that he was going to kill himself, and didn't say goodbye to me.

"

When you didn't say goodbye

I fell down on my knees

Begging to God

Please don't let him leave.

When you didn't say goodbye

I couldn't help but cry

And remembered your last words

The last that you told me.

When you didn't say goodbye

My still heart hit the floor

Our friendship is no more

Your blood is on the floor

And you didn't say Goodbye

And I'll never forgot

I'll always feel regret

Because I don't know why.

I should have told you

While you stood

I should have told you

We were good

And that I love you

I should have told you

Before you said goodbye.

Author's Note

Raine
Please remember, that this is about a real person who decided it was better to take his life then to have to fight with his mom or die from cancer. He smoked because it helped him stop from getting angry, and because he did not want to hurt his friends.
