Faded dream

Faded dream

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

The picture inspired this...

"

It was a gentle grasp

A firm clasp

A warm holding

Faith unfolding

Made her feel steady

And yet so heady

Was another world

Her spirit unfurled

Was like an embrace

With divine grace

The vision faded

Reality invaded

this one has magic written within it, if I may ask, whats the hidden message cause there is one, and I might be too tired to find it, so if you may tell me I would be really thankful

Very beautiful, amazing way of using words, all the respect from me to a real writer

All the best,

Oh wow, I love rhis, the imagery is beautiful and very telling of the story (or in this case poem) You sure do have a way with words sweet Raj, I was taken on the journey through this, I felt almost taken to the side of the devine, but like it is the way in life "The vision faded, Reality invaded" very well worded.

Love it

What a dreamy like poem. It was mystical. The images the words created were just as in the picture...heavenly, magical. Rain..

This is an inspiring piece. Again, very beautifully put together. "Reality invaded" as it so often does. Amazingly potent ending as well!

Lovely things can inspire us to bring forth beautiful words and images. I find the two line sentences enchanting as each gives a him and her feeling to me. A venture into the great unknown filled with promise and hope.

The last two lines offer diferent thoughts. Is this a dream state , of what is -- or a memory of what was?

Reality bites either way.

Well Done
