Alone in the rain...

Alone in the rain...

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

"how it feels alone in the rain" .....Came across this line in Rain's poem and it sparked of myriad emotions.

"

If I am out on the terrace

Or prancing about in the lush green grass

Or just walking along a moutain path

Or strolling along the river bank

Alone in the rain

Getting drenched to the core

The shower on my face

The droplets glistening in my hair

I could be so happy

Humming a tune

Stretching out my palm to feel the pitter patter

Or I could be crying

The rain veiling my tears

Letting my pain flow out

Not caring about the shiver

Running along my spine

Or  I could be longing for someone

The rain inducing romantic delight

A wisp of my imagination

Or simply I would find a little poem

Budding in my mind

Writhing to be set free

Your poem was written by you with such care and the emotions are right there and can be felt. I love the rain at times and who isn't tempted to splash in the puddles? I am always your friend--through the rain so you don't have to be alone. You bring such beauty--it's tangible and lovely. Wonderful!!

There is nothing more inspiring than the rain. It truly is something that can induce so many different feelings within us. You did a brilliant job at describing all the possibilities of what rain could mean to each one of us. For me rain is a driving force, screaming for a poem to be written
Loved this!

Rain...I have always loved it. Infact it does let out different emotions captured within us. It brings about someone else altogether in me....who loves to be set free, weave imaginations at a length and makes me want to live them....and may be for a moment i do live in that moment considering myself not a part of this world anymore.

This is lovely. The shades that you have added makes it perfect.
