Innocence lost

Innocence lost

A Poem by Alexanda Corrin
"

A poem with two meanings

"
In a world without stars - children
look up to the sky - they
see nothing - are
they lost
innocence

Author's Note

Alexanda Corrin
I wanted to try a different way of writing a poem. It started with the prompt 'a world with out stars' and spiralled into this. On another note, have fun mismatching words and coming up with new meanings.

Yes they are lost. Someone has taken their innocence from them. They are in a world without stars or wonder or beauty. It's a horrible place. A place many escape only at death. Good poem.
