This poem goes out to the love of my life, who gave me a reason to fight again.

To you so fair and pure of heart

It is you who I should have met from the start 

But life is fickle and has its ways 

Of turning minuets into hours and hours into days

Though hours or days I wish could been

For me to hold your hand to feel your soft skin

Life is a great journey of that we all know

And mine truly began two months ago

Because when I met you I knew in my heart

I found who Ive searched for, so long been apart 

You held out your hand and in the blink of an eye 

You gave this boy a reason to live 

And not die

Wow, this is beautifully written I must say! I always feel a tingle of warmth in my heart when I know that there's some people out there in the world that are happily in love. I might be miserable at times because of break-ups but reading poetry such as this, brings my mood up. I don't really know why either. I know how you feel in the first stanza. I want to go ahead and meet the person I'm supposed to be with instead of finding guys that only break my heart. I love how you ended your poem, too! That's so heartfelt and sweet! I love when a person can make a difference of saving a person's life. In your case, the simple but powerful four-letter word is what saved you. I could go on all day about love and everything, but I'm not. Haha! Great job, most definitely! This is cute and I hope for the best for both of you and Raya! :)
