Waiting For A Ride

Waiting For A Ride

A Poem by Jenessa
"

I see a woman everyday waiting at a bus stop with all this luggage but she never gets on any bus, I figured the right bus hadn't come yet.

"

Waiting on a bench,
In the sun,
For a bus that never comes.
Luggage in hand,
Ready to go,
Heart still beating but growing so sore.
Crowds go by
But nobody sees
A lady and her baggage; so full of pleas.
Time that it ends,
Still stuck in this place,
Wanting for death but never seeing his face.
Can't find the first step,
For a ride to the end,
Waiting on a bus that never runs.

About
I thought that interacting with other writers would inspire me to write more but it really hasn't. The odd poem still pops out though, I guess it's not completely gone in me. more..
