Aboard The Suicide Ride

Aboard The Suicide Ride

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

In the wee hours as warped decision slithers upon my emaciated nucleus

Stanzas undeclared expire in my gullet

And as glint of daylight shimmers through the curtains

I witness another day

Winking underneath its cordial emissions

This destructive instrument skates effortlessly amid pallid flesh

And whilst a cerise trajectory pursues

I survey roses that plummet on the inlay at my feet

Absolutely... Alas words can't express how- tortured, and beautiful this is. Your use of language is breathtaking.
