Anthony, Can you hear me mother.

Anthony, Can you hear me mother.

A Poem by Rayne-Alexandria
"

Written for class, based on his mother dying of cancer.

"
Can you hear me mother?
Are you really there?
Now that you are gone are you watching me?
Cancer was your was your downfall.
Even though they tried their best.
Realization hits that you're dying.
Killing you with painful slowness.
I try to be a sympathetic son but it's hard to make this real.
Love is all I can give right now.
Love is all I can give.
Eternity is waiting for you somewhere .
Death stakes its claim on you much before your time.
Heartbreaking sorrow fills me,
Enveloping my soul .
Realization hits that you're gone.
