Man on the Moon

Man on the Moon

A Poem by Soul Fire
"

A letter to the man on the moon.

"
Dear man on the moon;
What's it like to look down at earth?
Must have been lonely at first.
It must be beautiful up there.
What was it like at first?

What a beautiful view you must have,
Watching the stars dance around you.
Seeing the planets circulate and surround you.
Watching meteors and shooting stars.

You must have many wishes with that many flying by.
Do you ever cry when a star starts to die?

You must be the coolest guy,living up there,
Invisible to the naked eye.

Do you ever get lonely?
Being up there?
Do you just stop and stare?
The stars must be beautiful.

Man on the moon,
You are the luckiest guy.
You get to watch the universe go by.

Enjoy your time up there,

Sincerely;

An Earthling of the Milky Way Galaxy.
Come down and visit,
Come down and stay.
