A Poem by Soul Fire

A poem about scars, inside and out.

I look at my body,
Specifically my wrists.
I look down at my cuts,
and see my arm left in ruins.
I shed a tear as I look down,
No one will see,
No one's around.
I look at down at my thighs,
Another tear is shed from my eye.
I've carved into my beautiful long legs,
I've written ''ugly.'' and ''f*g.''
I look at myself in the mirror,
I look so strange.
I have scars on my face,
I look out of place.
The scars you see,
Are not them all.
The scars you don't see hurt most of all.
Some scars are too deep to see,too deep to show.
No one will ever know.

Simple and straightforward poem. Quite the relateable concept as well.
