The Questions

The Questions

A Poem by Raymond Collado

The Questions:

Where will I be when I get older.

Will I be in love as this world gets colder

If i get a baby girl will I always hold her?

tell her shes the best and daddy will be right here,

oh my dear,

will i be lazy everyday drinking beer?

man I hope the end aint near.

Will you roll with me if I aint got no cash.

Sorry about that but i just had to ask

cus im a victim from the past

and I'm wondering if love with pull through and begin to last

if i hand you a knife will you stab me in the back?

or would you put it down, kiss my lips while I grab those hips?

Will I still think like this?

will I make money and become very rich?

is this world gonna change for the better or for worse?

Will I be stuck inside a curse?

is the feeling of pain be the same as the feeling of hurt?

Will I live to my own expectations and receive what I deserve?

These are my questions that I hope to answer first.

I really got caught up in this poem, there are very real and intense feelings coming through. You ask the questions that go through peoples heads but that they never seem to ask or pay attention to. And they are real, hard questions that affect the evolvement of our lives. I like your though process, very nice poem. Don't give up on finding answers.
