Snow Globes

Snow Globes

A Poem by Robin
"

you are here

"
passion and flux are a strange brew ...

of firecrackers and daydreams

of compass points and fickle winds

an excerpt from the adventurer's heart

to reminisce in a snow globe

and how the magik is in the stirring

and the peace felt in the settling

each snowflake a whisper

how those snowflakes can warm the heart

of seedlings and simple things

the wandering and unexpected

hiking out to lonely places.

to build a campfire

and sit by the ocean

and just be

secret gardens of the heart and soul

a bonsai and stone

questions are an answer

and the answer is

they survive

but do they live

the third stanza was my favourite. we have to give everything we can to living, that is the only choice, life with its rhythms and dynamics not survival with its precipices and torn up notes. i read this several times and found something different each time. i always find your phrasing particularly beautiful. fantastic.

snowflakes as whispers warming the heart of a wanderer...adore the second stanza especially. your poetry is magical and filled with serenity yet thought-provoking at the same time.

What a question you have posed to deeply think about. Many live together and just move from day to day, but are they truly happy do they grow in their relationship? Well done

Original and unique, winter inside a sphere to bring the magik at the flip of a palm
where the world lays silently peaceful and falling. such a beautiful concept.
