Dark eyes

Dark eyes

A Poem by natalie

Dark eyes

Dark eyes gleaming,

Staring at me,

I wonder what they are thinking,

To finish me?

To gaze at me in love or amazement?

So see if I’m a threat?

To see what kind of person I am?

So many questions about it.

A pitch black back round.

Glowing green pointed ovals

A dark center to them,

These where eyes.

Just watching me,

Or maybe something near me.

Afraid to move,

I am frozen.

Suddenly I hear

“It’s okay don’t be afraid”

A tan hand comes out of the darkness

To comfort me…

I step forward.

“Hello? Who are you?”

They start to speak.

“The question would be more what am I?”

It came out,

The hottest thing ever.

It had dark eyes and dark hair.

HE was grinning.

“It’s you!” I said

Running into his arms.

“Yes it’s me” he answered.
