New Beginnings

A poem I wrote over a year ago when I realized how my heart was drawn to my now love of my life...

Two worlds, one soul

Compassion we show

We met in the shadows

When our spirits were low

Is life really question

To those things we desire?

Challenges around

There’s a bite to the fire

Emotions drawn

Like a moth to a flame

Surrounding a searing blaze

Yet no one to blame

Feel the heat through our depths

Feel the wake in our touch

Eyes open, minds stirring

Feeling so much

Life and choices

Questions surround

How do we move?

Boundaries abound

Approaching the depths

Avoiding the sea

Controlling the waves

Feeling the plea

Two galaxies, one passion

Drowning in need

Choices we make

Do we grow or take heed?

Knowing hearts

What holds the key?

Do You + Me

Equal combined empathy?

This is straight from the heart. Woven out of pure emotion. My favorite line was "Two galaxies, one passion"
it shows how you guys are your own individual person with so much going on on either side but yet your epicenter is love. great write
