Warm Winds

Warm Winds

A Poem by WindSong

A late summer zephyr

Blows softly as the willow sways,

And precious words in a memoir

Tell of love and youthful ways.

Oh summer!  My heart is in sorrow,

Stricken with a longing forevermore

For your emerald meadows and dandelions-

I dream of those days by the shore.

When autumn leaves begin to fall,

A petal blows gently to me;

And as summer surrenders in the breeze,

Warm winds hold me tenderly.

Beautiful, tender and romantic.
Love the imagery and the soft feelings it brings.
