I have awakened from my life of slumber, I see the mountain before me light illumines the glory, I am before thee I have shed the weights of time, I am in my pilgrimage a soul to salvage I am not worthy of his image
I am followed with sin in the face of his son in heavenly winds we gather as one
am I to be cast out of his lineage? which sin will cast the first stone?
without skin or bone I await the unknown at the steps of his throne.
Each of us must stand in the front of the maker one day. Be responsible for our good and bad actions. I like the way you expressed the wisdom in the poem.
"I am followed with sin
in the face of his son
in heavenly winds
we gather as one"
Thank you for the outstanding poem.

A soft, flowing, thought-provking piece. Even though the narrator is worried about his troubled past and what awaits him, its still a peaceful poem. I really enjoyed it!
A RECKONING... or gathered glory, awaits the story of that which was never seen nor acknowledged, maybe even remembered. Yet our Lord saves these as we are saved... and washed in the blood of the Lamb they say.
No man may know what his fate may be... till we draw that breath and witness the Kingdom through eyes of spirit, and not tied to flesh and bone. A beautiful piece and I got a lot from this journey. What songs might be sung for us, in the Concourse of Heavenly Halls.
We need wonder... and grace.
