Birth Of Taoism

Birth Of Taoism

A Poem by Joseph - Michael

There are so many stories of the myths and the legends. And we all have our own opinions on which we'd like to believe. So, here's my ideals on what I'd like to believe.

Somewhere In the Land Of Unknown

The Lonely Tiger Was Roaming Around

Within The Depths Of The Darkest Jungle

Lurking Slowly Without Making Any Sound

Suddenly Out Of Nowhere The Fire Was Blown

Across The Deceived Eyes Of The True Beast

Dazzled By The Uncontrollable Flame That Roared

Watching And Learning The Purposes Of The Fire

Engaging His Spirit Set On To Be Ready To Soar

All Prepared As If He Would Hunt For A Feast

Somehow The Fire Had The Tiger Surrounded

He Just Sensed The Fact That He's Not Alone At All

Sniffing Around Quickly For The Unseen To Be Located At

Spotted The Unknown And Preparing His Claws To Be Called

The Heartbeats That Lied Between Them Are Not Pounding

At Last Their Eyes Have Finally Met Their Matches

It Was A Giant Fire Breathing Dragon That Was Stalking

The Tiger Showed No Fear But Showed Great Deal Of Wrath

Around The Fire The Dragon Blew The Smokes While Walking

Patiently Waiting For Each Other Trigger To Be Scratches

Moments Later The Dragon Moved Closer To Get A Better View

But The Tiger Refused To Wait And Jumped Through The Fire

The Dragon Didn't Move But To Admire Him Taking The Leap

They Roared At Each Other Along With The Great Deals Of Desires

Suddenly It Was An Unusual Relationship That Began Anew

He Was As Known As The Crouching Tiger

And She Was As Known As The Hidden Dragon

They Remained Together Throughout The Legacies

They Were The Fighters That Lived In Harmony Upon

Years Passed As Their Love Grew Stronger And Mightier

Their Secrets Have Stayed Hidden For So Long

It Wasn't Just Any Ordinary Love At First Sight

Nothing Compared To The Stories That Were Told

It Truly Was The True Love At The First Fight

So The Legends About Them Were Spoken Wrong

Today... There Are World Filled With Mixed Martial Artists...

... And so on...

...You can use your imaginations...

...Don't Ever Call Them "Drager" or "Tigon"...

Don't you think you could agree? I mean, if it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be a world filled with all kinds of martial arts today. Espcially the Mixed Martial Artists as well.

this was a very unique piece... you do have a way with words translating it well into painted thoughts of imagery and the detail you put into it is breath taking.... overall nice job on this one...

Very romantic thought! I think it would flow better if it was put in present tense so you're reading it as it's happening, but still I like it!

lol...I can feel the tension that rose between the two..i thought they'll be having a bloody fight!! so your theory is that the mighty tiger and the fierce dragon have a love affair? :) a hybrid and then poof! martial arts..^^ lol sorry im being weird again..:p

Legends and folklore.. are wonderful ways to pass down stories of beliefs. A wonderful story woven of two fighters on the opposite sides of the spectrum... Yet taking a moment to regard each other as one with a beating heart and finding love and harmony in the end....

Simply beautiful! :p
