Cappriccio Farce

a courtroom of insanity

The defendant's seat is empty,
The lawyer's words were just rubbish.
The judge wasn't trapped in a jeopardy.
The whole court looks hellish.

The judge, an intelligent woman.
She had solved cases for the court faithfully,
But lends an ear to the sadistic jury.

The lawyer, a person who never enters court,
Giving papers is his only effort,
His words are never touched and used,
Everything he does isn't helping.

The defendant's seat was empty,
'Cause he was always forced to stand,
Always judged quickly
By the wicked jury.

The sadistic jury finally gives their decision,
With killer eyes that can kill someone
They bring destruction.

The whole court now looks hellish,
With a death penalty for the accused,
A useless lawyer and a lazy judge,
And with the jury that brings death.

I was inspired by Cappriccio Farce by Vocaloid because it shows a lot of reality in our lives...

After reading your poem, I'm really going to have to listen to that song. I hadn't thought about its reflexion of our lives' reality...but I guess it is similar in that, no matter how you defend yourself in court, you will still, inevitably, die. How insightful, steady rhythm, nice poem~ : )
