What lurks in the dark

When doors are locked and curtains shut over orange windows
Large featherless wings stealthily flapping eclipse the starry sky
Elongated shadows merge with trees each sides of a lonely road
Deep croaks silence the lily pads sat toads and frogs loud choir
Blood stained fangs and claws tearing flesh behind shrubs and bushes
Suspicious luminescent eyes glow like fireflies on human world edges
Which Dark Lord thrones in the moonless court, ready to command
The black legions of evil lore that lurks in dark recesses, waiting...
Oh, sleeping human beware the raise of all those creatures of the night!
