Beautifully written, expressing perfectly the continuity of love. Separation by distance or death, it matters not...for love is kept safely within every memory and moment. At our weakest, or even at times of achievement...we need the connection to our love. Unbeknownst to us, as we share our lives with one another...our senses are creating a collection of memories for our hearts...promising that we shall never truly be alone. Our senses are the keepers and dispensers of creativity...to allow for our loves and lives to be eternal, through art, poetry and song. I am impressed, always, by the depth of your words. Thank you for sharing...
Soft smiles for you...

This is a beautiful poem about love, separation, grief, emotion, togetherness (even when separated). I like the rhyme and the flow of the poem. Wonderful!!!!

i like the connection between the sonnets...part one and part two so expressive of what real love feels and acts like...
we can always say beautiful words to another...but these words jump off the page with the emotions and hug the reader...

Thank you, Sarah,
It is encouraging you felt that and think it's beautiful! ⁓ Richard 🍃
thank you i didn't realize i could copy and past from the image otherwise i wouldn't of bothered you! Still haven't attempted a sonnet perhaps i will muster the courage soon. I could hear a bards voice in this with a very natural cadence and flow in its unfolding, a warm breath upon my mind (love that line) as I read the rawness of the emotion laid bare in its sincerity at first read made me recoil a bit in the shame of a prying witness. The second sonnet is a warm familiar reminder of the very things I strongly believe in myself and you conducted it so well and i need not expound on it a bit for i see you in it so plainly we have very similar beliefs. A very fine write good sir
