This poem is so lovely it plays like a melody.
So tender and silky, it speaks to me.
How many hearts have you stolen or left throats swollen?
My dear man you are a rare gift with song,
Please don't keep me not waiting long
For another chance to hear your voice
Please understand I have no choice.
I'd love to dance to your tune
In the hour of midnights first June.
(Ok hardly is it advice to give or comment made. But I had to answer in this way, for to read your words is to dance in celebration to a man who celebrates women. Thank you for sharing

Sighhh! Such a compellingly stirring review you've gifted this doting poem and its graciously pleased author.
You certainly know how to catch a bard's attention, charming him with a delightfully sweet, warmly imaginative verse of your own.
Seems you celebrate men every bit as enjoyably as I do women.
For answering in the way you have, please, accept my warmest hug of thanks to thee, Dear Poetess! ⁓ Richard 🍃
You have such a wonderful way with words Richard, you appear to weave them together until they become like a tapestry, portraying the bigger picture, a picture that becomes more vivid as the reader delves into each sentence,
take care my friend,
Lathen

Your gracious review, a poem in itself, both gratifies and blesses an olde bard's hopes of successfully writing for and serving others' pleasurable delights.
You said, "a picture that becomes more vivid as the reader delves into each sentence." Most of my poems are like this.
Aww, this reminded me of my fresh writing days when I was learning to write poetry from you :D beautiful tribute for females, Richard. Can't help but smile at the hope you're giving to men at the end though :p
A lovely write. Hope you're doing good btw :))

Yes, my longtime dear friend and most excellent poetic protege, fond memories are many … and though, time has drifted through us, you are never too far from my heart or thoughts. On your path, I wish "most of all" that life has been kind and prosperous to you in all ways.
It pleases me so deeply to know you've found beauty in my humble words of admiration and regard for the truest treasures of poetry, Our Wondrous Poetesses … without you, poetry would not have a heartbeat or breath.
And, your "smile" is so fetching … grin* You know me so well … how could I possibly pass-up a little chance for us guys? 😏
It's so nice to hear your voice, Dear Doctor Yumna.
I'll be visiting you soon! ⁓ Richard🖌

My limit of words are but a pond compared to your vast ocean. I thought I had reviewed this majestic poem months ~ years ago. Your tribute to women poets is enough to explain greatly your appreciation for each that utilizes a pen on paper. There should be even more reviews.
An excellent poem, Richard.

The gracious praise of my vocabulary is humbly requited … as the dictionary and thesaurus equally embrace us both. 🤓
It's such a joy to believe we see eye-to-eye of our gloriously gifted poetesses … a most grateful toast to one 'n all! 🥂
Wow! I was directed to you by Gounwah. She described you as the master. Not to embarrass her, or you, but reading this as my first I am going to agree. Masterfully written. Complete and complex. True to its form. About poetry which always scores a point. And frankly, I thought you might be writing about Lightsong. I am anxious to read more. This was excellent!

It is an honor and pleasure to serve your interest and enjoyment in my poem upon this page, in homage to Ghounwah and all Our Faire Lady-Poets.
To be considered a Master Poet by such a brilliant poetess as Lightsong, herself, is graciously high praise, indeed, warming, gratifying, and humbling this olde bard.
That you agree, is more than could be expected … this is truly an unexpected gift.
Thank you for a very nice compliment, My Friend! ⁓ Richard🖌

Sir William! I like it! Though it does make me feel a bit olde.

Your verse is so well done that it is intimidating to a novice poet such as I. It reads in a classical manner and is replete with images and metaphors of a grand nature while the meter and flow of the poem seems flawless. Congratulations you indeed are a poet

Most gratefully, I am sincerely honored you've selected this poetic homage to our fair poetesses to read, praise, and critique.
That you've recognized my poetic skills so effulgently is, indeed, praise beyond any I could have expected, but I'm keeping every single word, nonetheless. : )

Your words of praise and reflection assure an olde bard that his earnest efforts to please have not gone unnoticed, unappreciated, or without a certain appeal.
Bless you with all the joy your lovely heart can hold! ⁓ Richard🖌
