Nobody's Seat on this Planet

Nobody's Seat on this Planet

A Poem by Reason4Rissa

On a rage, backstage,
cus I got stuck in a phase,
reading the same page,
now way out of this maze,
stuck in these crazy dysfunctional ways,
maybe I just need a blunt to blaze.
Time to sit back relax and chill,
spazin for real,
ready to kill,
drown out the crowd,
headphones in,
musics on loud,
frozen,
feelings like snow,
feelings aren't allowed,
slowly I sink but wish to grow,
left in the cold past,
time moves on,
but memories last,
never gone,
hard to let go so fast,
it actually takes time to be strong,
so I ask the rain to dance with me,
ask the pain to chance it with me,
these dang pants don't fit me,
and now none of my old friends sit with me,
don't know why no one vents with me,
lost it all to try it one time,
now its just me and this rhyme,
opened my eyes but I wish they stayed closed
cus once I decided to choose what I chose,
I haven't felt, and fell off my toes,
to anyone who says their by my side,
nobody knows how much I've died,
Only God can judge me,
Only God can budge me,
still no one can swallow their pride.
Addictions are cast upon all sinners,
we could all be winners,
but while we're human God doesn't give us the right to point our index
and loves us all the same no matter if murder was the reflex,
if we like the same sex, if we rock a diamond rolex, or drive a lex, love is the only thing life detects.
Pain is love,
you go threw it to live stronger.
If it makes you wronger,
you get more lost but you'll come back around,
like karma, we get lost and then found.
without it life wouldn't be lived,
you get back all you've given,
my story is just important as your story,
but yours is your glory,
and mine is my mystery,
I got interest in all history,
cuz everyone is interesting,
love them, and dislike them
all bright, and dem,
pray at night, in Jesus's name, amen.

Loved the flow to this, along with the play on words, which is something I personally love to do myself. Fine job. :)

I'm not a very religious person, but your poems are very lovely and comforting to me. Thank you.
