Turkey for Dinner

Turkey for Dinner

A Poem by Rita L. Sev
"

an ironic limerick

"

A turkey who came to my door

thought I would eat him for sure

“Don’t worry,” I said,

“I’m an utter veg-head.”

So now feeding him is my chore.

All these poems about turkey and lunch. Are you trying to make your readers hungry? lol

Lucky he found you though. If it had been me I would have gobbled him up and used the leftovers for tamales. Damn...now I want tamales.

Look at you!

Thanks for the entertaining write.
