THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER

THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER

A Poem by SJ Mullins

I held death’s hand

when I tried to leave;

It wasn’t yet my time

I was given a reprieve.

I was brought back

so I could help others,

not make the same choices--

my sisters and brothers.

“The world is your oyster,”

God blessed you with gifts.

Use them to the fullest;

don’t fill life with rifts

Life is a gift,

we have only one!

Live it to the fullest;

Don’t leave things undone!

Gee
Grab it with both hands, embrace it, ' cos it sure is fleeting. One minute a child the next it seems you can hear the old reapers footsteps approaching.
