A Poem by Panhead Rod
"

A poem reflecting money issues these days...

"
...
This illusive thing called money...
Where in the Hell does it go?...
It seems to simply disappear,
and gone before you know...
...
You put in time to earn it,
then for it, you must wait...
By the time you finally get it,
bills are piled upon the plate...
...
Your wish list is now shrinking...
Your stuff... it all needs fixed...
Yet, by the time that you save some,
taxes jump into the mix...
...
You wonder... will it ever end,
as prices just jump higher...
It makes you want to take those bills,
and throw them in a fire...
...
It must be time to take a break...
Take dog out for a walk...
I know that this won't fix a thing...
but it will stop me from my squawk...
...

Great meter, great use of rhyming words, plus - a grin start to finish .
