Armaggeddon

Armaggeddon

A Poem by G.W. Milton
"

It's kinda dark, yet.......I honestly don't know. Everyone i've shown it to likes it, hopefully you will as well. :)

"
The night is cold
The whispers of my past spread
Untold are the horrors in which I express
For as the shadows of regret and pain flow into the world
Glorious morning is awaited

The mountains shall crumble and temples shall fall.
The sea shall turn monstrous as the King(Poeseidon)is threatened
The skies turn dark as our making is undone.
Terrible atrocities shall be committed on our day of reckoning.

Armies move in their futile attempt
Navy’s run as the sea churns
Our undoing is for sure

And still, on the shores of the world, I await
Unmoved and afraid of the world that shall become
Alone I stand, unmarked and afraid
The endless perils of the world move upon us
I have stood
I have fallen
I have risen
And I have moved on

As the shadows of death and destruction move onto us, I am prepared
For I have made this mark of mine in this confused world
I must watch over the remains as a servant of my lord
For a shepherd must tend to his flock. And…… at times fight off the wolves
