Namah - to bow, adoration

Te - to you.

Namaste. I bow to you.

 

By addint the prayer hands and bowing, we complete the Namaste gesture.

This gesture recognizes the belief that the life force, divinity, self, and God are the same in each of us.

 

We recognize each person as our equal.

We honor the peace within.

We say, "The light in me recognizes the light in you."

We are one.
