Dear Ron,

This is a most interesting and captivating piece. This style is generally not my cup of tea, but I have to admit that here you have wonderful turn of phrase and an emotion and style that pulls the reader in, giving him/her glimpses of himself/herself and life's truths. These truths aren't laid bare, but are hinted at, kept somewhat at arms length and shrouded in mystery, but you catch a flash of insight every few lines and can smell the tangible honey-musk of truth. It is an intoxicating poem that speaks to the emotions, which swell at these discoveries.

A most powerful write.

As my friends well know, I am not easy with high ratings. I will not review a poem if I can't rate it at 90 or above. Generally, if I rate at 95 or above, you've definitely earned my respect. Here, however, is a clean 98 rating. I've never given higher. 100 is impossible because no poem can ever be perfect. And if I ever find a 99 poem, I'm sure I will go blind immediately after reading it. This poem has me tearing and squinting from its brightness.

Wonderful poem. Simply inspiring.

Very best regards,

Rick

This is a poem of magnificence. I don't know how to describe how excellent this piece is. It reminds me of a TOOL song, Lateralus, in fact. There was a lot of grease and love put into this piece and the color made it visually punching. I love this work. Favorited.

Wow. Where to start? This is a beautifully complex poem. Normally I look for simplicity in poetry, but everything works so well together here. The imagery is intensely fitting and the structure complements beautifully. Your word choice is amazing. Added as a favourite. Congratulations on a masterful write.

Meticulous choice in words. I appreciate the punch of every purposeful line! An "epic" poem in the old definition as well as the modern definition of the word.
I enjoyed the journey of the character and the reflection it gives the reader.

Thanks for reviewing Faces. I'm glad you liked it.
Ron.
There is so much of this that I love: beginning with the picture, the colors fading so perfectly, fitting with the words. It was an amazing read. I don't usually like long poems, because I have a horrible attention span, but I loved this.

This is one of the most amazing pieces I've ever read. To me it screams the pain, the isolation, the mystery. I think this is genius and it's going into my library favorites. Brilliant piece!!!
