Everyone thinks of me

Luminary as it seems to be

But deep lies the truth

I am nobody

 

Should I? Or should I not?

The words I want to express

May it not mischief

I desire but you don’t care

 

If only this mind can speak

How beautiful you are inside

I wouldn't mind at all

Say it, say it, just say it

 

We are not meant to be

Towering heights I cannot climb

Distance is too far

Separated by space and time

 

I waited so long

Your shadow never crosses mine

I guess this is hard for both

Let broken pieces shattered

 

If you only knew how I think of you

 

I secretly gaze back, you don’t mind

 

I surrender my faith and bury my love

 

Until I find another one, this is goodbye

It is hard to want and be so far away. I like the way you wrote the poem. Allowing the reader to feel the different thoughts and emotions. The poem is sad. To give up and look for something else is a form of sadness. Good music and outstanding poetry. Thank you.
