Eden

Eden

A Poem by Anna

I asked him how much he loved me,
he said, "more than life itself."
I told him it was easy to die,
he replied, "I love you to the point
of creation--
if you did not exist,
I would have no choice but to
become God."

And to that I had nothing
to say.

I think anyone would be hard put to come up with a reply to that statement. If one could push another to become One Without A Second, that's pretty heavy duty love.

The places we go when there is no place to go. Poetry and madness.

Oh dear Anna. I liked the twist of words. The questions and the answers. Both perfect. Thank you dear poet for sharing the amazing and interesting poem. I did like the poetry.
