Lux

Lux

A Poem by Anna

Blood pools in rings of salt;
moonlit-- absent from time.
Smoke stings your eyes until
your clawing fit subsides.
What is left of you isn't
very human anymore--
you're falling into yourself.
I loved you before all this-
but this-- it doesn't feel
very you anymore.

We should love -No Matter What- and then no matter what comes along and should is challenged in any of a myriad of fearful ways.
