Dyslexia

A Poem by Rosemary Peel
"

personal perspective

"

Dyslexia (from personal experience)
Sniggers,
No attempt to hide the mirth:
Beads of sweat; a lumpy throat;
Letters dance, merge and disappear…
Misery.

Alone,
Pleasures of the book call out:
A sigh; a smile,
And sentences make sense…
Sweet joy.
