Uncovered

A Poem by ROSALIND

Where do I belong
in an everlasting bed of sorrows
Weeping for a lovers garden
The door is slammed shut
I weep at the gate .
Out here in the blue
Hazy mist .
My heart aches for you.
But the key to your heart
remains closed
I stand here untill I feel faint
Darkness fills my soul.
untill this garden opens
My soul won't be whole

Unrequited love can be so painful. Your short poem here conveys the sorrow so well. Nicely penned Rosalind. First of yours I have read. Nice to meet you.
