Worn this way

Worn this way

A Poem by Rossen

I crave the love
from your empty plate
from your slipper sock
caught on the gardens gate

like the lipstick smear
on the bathroom mirror

yesterdays dear kiss
reflections worn like this

like moonlight saved in your heart-shaped locket
scribbled ways stay folded safe in my pocket

cherished hopes held in your last poem
nearest to my chest your words find home

sonnet wrapped ankles,my love worn this way
little songs,little songs...

pigeons fly away~

Little songs in little songs and so it should always be.

This is very good, I like how this dances around but keeps coming back to the subject of love. I love the phrasing in this. Exceptional. I really enjoyed this one today.
