A Samll Bird's Verse

A Samll Bird's Verse

A Poem by RoxyMonoxide
"

Poetry describing thè uplifting feeling inspired by hearing bred song.

"
If you can be charmed
By a small bird’s
Good evening air

What have you a care
For works weary wares?
For if you can be disarmed

Why waste a thought on loss?
Nor whistle loss upon the breeze
Not this evening we sing our loses

For if you can be charmed
By a small bird
You needn’t lose a beat of life’s tempo

Wither we speak a word
For a spoken curse
If we could sing natures own verse?

We needn’t regret a single word
Because natures unerring love
Seeks us to sing a small bird's verse,
