We rolled into the town.
Each cloak had a gem on it. Each bandit pressed on theirs, and their skin tone and hair looked like normal elves.
Cloaking Magic!
I wanted to press mine, but nick just looked at me.
"Your're fine." He said. "You look similar to a crystal elf. Just.... Hold on."
He grabbed a small leather bag from his backpack and took a handful of the substance inside.
He rubbed streaks of it into my pink hair, and blue streaks formed.
"How did you get that?!" I asked.
He just smirked and said "I know a guy."
He painted crystal elf markings on my face, and I was ready to go.
The town was bustling with other beings.
Elves, Dwarves, Humans, Nymphs...... A large variety of races!
I could EXPLODE with the excitement I have been storing!
The carriage stopped and we grabbed our bags.
"Look, we are only here to grab supplies." Nick said and jumped off.
"Do NOT take the cloaks off."
Then he just looked to me and handed me something.
"Bella... Um, Here." He said, handing me something.
"My purse!" I said.
"Um, we got that from your room. We really don't need it any more."
I just smiled and nodded.
Through the market, I saw many other people speaking their own languages.
A lot of elves use common in big cities, but elven is popular in smaller communities in this kingdom.
As a princess and heir to the throne, I must- You know, I don't want to sound like I'm giving into what my parents make me go through.
Nick followed me around the marketplace, and lead me somewhere.
It was a shady looking area with a door that seemed to be the back door to a shop.
"This is a good friend of ours," Nick said. "He will set us up with the supplies we need."
We came in and we saw an old half elf shopkeeper.
He spoke a tongue even I couldn't recognize.
Surprisingly, Nick Sparran spoke in the same tongue!
They spoke in a happier tone, and then spoke common again.
"So this is princess bella!" The shopkeeper said.
I greeted the kindly old man.
"So you disguised her as a crystal elf?"
He squinted at me and smiled.
"She seems all set. She doesn't seem to have her magic disabled." He said. "She is very likely to escape."
Nick just laughed.
"We trust her." He said. "She was actually all about being with us."
He had his hand on my shoulder, and I just smiled. I was happy to be out of the castle.
Nick and the shopkeeper babbled on and on and discussed the deal about the supplies.
The shopkeeper showed us a room full of crates.
"Wow, you had outdone yourself!" Nick said happily.
I just sat myself down at one of the tables as they discussed business.
I looked out the window to see a shadowy figure beckoning me outside.
"I'll be right back" I blurted and calmly walked out.
The stranger covered itself in a long black cloak.
"I see you lay amongst the thieves." They said.
It appeared to be a woman shadowed in the darkness of the shady alley.
"Such beauty and light, yet such darkness in you." She said.
"Something I could never achieve."
"Who are you?"
"I cannot tell you, but this isn't the last you will see of me."
Then she turned away.
"Goodbye Key." She said and disappeared.
I stared at the alleyway she disappeared into and went back into the shop.
Nick and The shopkeeper were picking up crates to load into the wagon.
"Hey Bella!" He said, happy to see me. "Could you help us out here?"
"I would be glad to."
I picked up a large crate of supplies and hauled it to our wagon parked outside.
The shopkeeper looked surprised.
"What, You've never heard of a princess willing to lift a finger?"
I just walked along, happy with myself, and heaved the crate onto the wagon.
My vine bracelet writhed on my wrist and seemed to be moving around like crazy as I hauled crates along.
Adjusting, wrapping around different areas, growing and shrinking, and gripping onto the crates.
Wow, earthen magic was hard for me to control. I can't even control it myself!
It was around noon, and we were all ready to go.
I looked at the streets, and I saw the strange woman in the corner of my eye.
Then, I heard a riddle ringing in my mind.
The tree grows
Where the most power shows
Where it's beautiful child lay,
Nobody knows
The caged little bird
will soon take flight
as the sun sets
as day turns to nigh
titans will fall
the demons will crawl
from the depths of the world
at a beckoned call
I cannot hold
back this fate
but the key
must be found before it is too late
The wagon bumped along the road as I heard that.
I looked around, and everyone looked happy.
Nick looked to me and said "Hey, are you okay there?"
He was back to his normal, shadow elfy self.
I just smiled and nodded.
"Hey, we're playing some more jihnsa!" Kieran said "Do you want to play, Bella?"
I just smiled and scooted over to the circle of bandits and got handed my first three cards.

This is very well written, you have a quite a talent with words.

I do have to say there were a few spots that I got caught up on, and had to reread a few times, and a few comma's and other things misplaced, but nothing really major.

I liked this quite a lot actually, and would be interested in reading more, I'm hoping you do plan on adding more to this.

I would also suggest you add a quick description in the author's note on the main part of the book, so people will know what they're going to be reading.
