Nimble Fingers

Nimble Fingers

A Poem by Sage
"

Another short piece I wrote around 8th grade... I think to say that it was a trifling time for me is an understatement. :)

"

Nimble fingers

Be fast

Nimble fingers

Make haste

Spin your web some more

Weave it long

Weave it wide

Tie it tight

Do not stop

Do not let anyone inside

I started to think this was about spinning a web of lies? deceit? but then it felt as though the web was spun around a body or a heart. I love the symbolism and the speed of the poem. A lovely read.
