Excuses

Excuses

A Story by Nathaniel Williams

Just mould to my dusty yellow Brown coutch with cigarette ash, collective dust on the laminated floor sat in silence watching my reflection through a blank screen tv pondering saying to myself i rather provide my luxarry greed when buying f**s, a box of booze for the mates an odd wine bottle for the mrs you can't say I don't splash out life is for enjoying, you only live once. F**k you to the people that constantly knocks my self-esteem. Visiting my local newsagent where Mr Ross the owner has a secret crush on a so called florist name Jane once married now divorce every week I realise he buys her strawberries with good gesture that he will have a chance to be her ballroom partner for the local ballroom charity event happening thursday evening. My close encounters that I've known all my life well not no more sharing between one anothe cruel remarks about my family when they feel I'm selfish and only make time for my wife who also they say she is araggont pitty over small unecessary outcomes. My youngest daughter who is eleven going through change and peer pressure had a outburst where she shouted out "I hate you why do I have parents like you."
